All statewide elected offices, including a closely fought governor’s race, and the entire 10-member US House delegation remained in Democratic hands, despite a national tide that left Republicans celebrating large gains last night.

WBUR reports: Voters are giving Gov. Deval Patrick four more years to work on the problems facing the state.
